Addendum, as I forgot to put *when* the framedrops happenedInitial loading into the avatar there were no drops and it worked just fine, but part of the avatar is using the Emote menu to toggle on and off different skinned meshes to change the appearance, and it was only after triggering one of the different modes that the framedrop would begin.
i've been having an issue with frame drops on this new version of the shader; i've remade materials completely and tried fully uninstalling and re-installing the shader as well, but the problem persisted, but the framedrops stop once i switch back to the standard shader. For the record I was using the Toon version of the shader, using shadow ramps, and specular lighting on a few materials. Backface culling is turned off on all of the materials as well, and shatterculling wasn't being used previously, and couldn't be after remaking the materials.
